YOUR TABLE. YOUR RECORDS.
Privacy &
your data.
Updated November 3, 2026
Host A Poker is a home-game ledger. This version runs without an account and saves game records in the browser you use.
What stays on your device
Game names, player names, buy-ins, cash-outs, and payment statuses are stored in your browser. The ledger does not automatically upload these records to a game database or synchronize them with other devices.
Anyone with access to the same browser profile may be able to open your saved games. Use a device and browser profile you trust.
Backups and sharing
When you export a JSON backup or CSV, the downloaded file contains the game information you entered. Copying results also includes game and player information. Choose carefully where you store those files and who you share them with.
A backup is the way to move games between devices or domains. Host A Poker can read compatible EveryHand JSON backups. Importing does not delete the original records from EveryHand.
Keeping your history safe
- Export a JSON backup after each game.
- Keep a copy before clearing your browser’s site data or switching devices.
- Avoid private browsing for records you want to keep. Closing a private window may remove its saved data.
- Different browsers, profiles, and domains have separate saved records.
Payments
Host A Poker records payment amounts and manual confirmations. It does not collect card details, hold funds, send money, or verify a payment with a bank or payment service. Arrange payments through your usual method and confirm their status in the ledger yourself.
Website requests
The hosting service may process request information, such as an IP address and browser information, to deliver and protect the website. This version does not include advertising trackers or a game analytics service. Exported or copied records leave the browser only when you choose to save or share them.
Removing local records
Browser settings let you clear site data for hostapoker.com. This removes the ledger saved in that browser. Export a backup first if you want to keep a copy. Downloaded backups and records you have already shared must be managed separately.
