good questions.
Do players need an account?
No. The host keeps the ledger on one device. Players don’t need to sign up or download anything. Copy the final results when you’re ready to share them.
Does Host A Poker send money?
No. It records amounts and works out the remaining payments. Settle through your usual payment method, then manually mark each payment as settled. The ledger doesn’t verify payments with a bank or payment app.
Where are my games saved?
In the browser and device you use to host. They don’t automatically sync between devices or domains. Export a JSON backup after a game, especially before clearing browser data or changing devices. Private browsing can remove your games when the window closes.
Can I bring my EveryHand history?
Yes. Open EveryHand in the same browser you used for those games, export a JSON backup, then import it into your Host A Poker ledger. Your original records remain on EveryHand.

You’ll see the exact difference. Check buy-ins, rebuys, and final chip values before finalizing. Zero is a valid cash-out for a player who has no chips left; a blank value still needs to be entered.
